(The new Split View slider will not available in Capture One Express variations.) The update to the software adds a Before & After slider tool. If you don’t want a slider, you can simply use the full view, which shows you the “before” state. You can use this Split View feature on multiple photos, too. When using the software, you can push the letter “Y” on your keyboard to bring up a Split View slider, which lets you drag right or left to compare your edited “after” copy (right) with the original “before” version (left). And Capture One calls it the “most flexible healing workflow of any RAW converter.” The Healing and Clone brushes have been improved. Each tool will also generate a new layer and give photographers the ability to have “a limitless number of heal-zones per layer.” According to Capture One, these two brushes are now more versatile, employing moveable source points and transformable heal zones. The update provides improvements to the software’s Healing brush and Clone brush tools, allowing them to perform more intelligently. The update improves the following capabilities: Enhanced Healing and Clone Brush Tools Today, Capture One refreshed its image-editing software, Capture One 20, which now comes with a number of enhancements that should improve workflows for all kinds of photographers.
